What should I expect during the appointment?

Microneedling procedures are performed using the SkinPen® Precision device, the first-to-market and FDA-cleared microneedling device. This minimally invasive procedure uses a sterile needle head to safely and effectively improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and discoloration. Treatment typically lasts 30–60 minutes. Post-procedure, expect redness, skin tightness, and mild sensitivity, which typically diminish within hours. Full recovery occurs within 24 hours, with minimal evidence of the procedure.
How does microneedling work?
Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin using a device equipped with fine, sterile needles, such as the SkinPen® Precision. These micro-injuries trigger the body's natural wound-healing process, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, essential for maintaining skin's elasticity, firmness, and youthful appearance.
